On a boat, the keel is the deep line that runs under the hull. People who live with dachshunds, corgis and Frenchies use the same word for the chest of their dog: deep at the front, close to the ground, rising toward the back. It is the part of the body a harness has to fit around first, so we named the shop after it.

The Corgi, Dachshund, Frenchie and Everyday Harness are the same harness. Each page shows it on a different dog, so you can see it on a body like your dog's. The tape measure decides the size, not the page.

The harness comes in 11 colors, from Black, Stone and Navy to Cherry, Fuchsia and Sunflower: a quiet one, a bright one, something for every coat. Each color keeps its name on the harness, the leash, the collar and the bag holder, so the walk can match from the D-ring to the bags.

Then the few things that go out the door with the harness: a flat coated leash with a loop handle and a metal snap hook, a flat coated collar with a metal buckle, a silicone bag holder on a cord loop, and rolls of bags. Each one is sold on its own, at its own price.

Shipping and import duties are included in every price. Orders ship with tracking to the 50 US states and Washington, D.C.: allow about 8 to 15 business days from order confirmation. Unused items can come back within 30 days of delivery, and a quick try-on indoors to check the size is fine. Return shipping for a change of mind or a wrong size is paid by you, to an address we send by e-mail, which may be outside the United States. The details are on our shipping and returns pages.
